Plot ~ Problems arise when Prince Arthur encounters a pretty damsel called Sophia and her father, Aulfric (Kenneth Cranham). He saves them from some bandits but is unaware that the whole incident has been staged.

Also, Morgana has had a dream about Sophia, but it was before the girl had arrived at Camelot. In the dream Morgana sees Arthur drowning and Gaius is concerned that Morgana might have a gift for seeing into the future. However, she knows that she cannot tell Uther of her fears because he would consider her second sight as magic.

It does not take long for Merlin and Camelot's physician to realise that Sophia and her father are magical beings who wish to sacrifice Prince Arthur so that they can pass into the realm of Avalon.

Sophia uses her magic to persuade Arthur to run away with her when Uther refuses for the two to be married.  Can Merlin stop Sophia and her father and prevent Arthur from a watery grave?
