| Plotline
- In the twenty years since the fall of Camelot,
Merlin (James Callis) has become a recluse known as "the wild man of
the woods." He is now summoned by a charge of young knights as they
quest to destroy an evil wizard who rules the land from a throne of a
"New Camelot."
Director - Warren P. Sonoda Writer - Brook Durham The TV movie is being made by Front Street Pictures for the Sci-Fi channel and the pay TV outlet Starz. Filming will take place in and around Vancouver and the story is written by Brook Durham. As well as starring James Callis as the legendary wizard, Laura Harris (Dead Like Me) will play King Arthur's daughter, Avlynn.

The movie is being directed by Warren Sonoda who when asked about the program gave these thoughts: - "They are letting me take the more frilly fable of Camelot and dirty it up," he explains. "I'm doing a Braveheart. The Round Table is destroyed and Camelot is in ruin and the Book of Beasts is very much a weapon of mass destruction wielded by an anarchist with loose morals. It is a bit darker and more cool."
