'King Jesus (and his bid for the throne of Rome' by Ralph Ellis |
|
||
|
Ralph Ellis's book goes against orthodox
perceptions, and suggests that King Jesus and Queen Mary Magdalene were
the richest couple in Syrio-Judaea and were eventually forced out by the
Romans.
Ellis then makes ties between the
son of God and the legendary King Arthur and attempts show why the
British Warlord is missing from historical record. He claims that after
the crucifixion Jesus was sent into exile in Britain (in Fortress Dewa
in Chester). Since it was heresy to write or sing that King Jesus had
survived the cross and been sent into exile (a heresy punishable by
death), the Medieval troubadours invented the tales of King 'Arthur'.
