Fans can now order volume 1 of Season 5 on DVD, which includes episodes 1-6,  from Amazon here.   • 'Behind The Sword In The Stone' is a documentary on the making of 'Excalibur' being made by Alec Moore and Mark Wright. It looks at how the film was a starting point for the careers of a number of now famous actors. The production is in need of funding and there are rewards for anyone wishing to contribute!   • 'Stone Lord' is a new Arthurian novel written by J.P. Reedman and is set during the era of stonehenge. The book was published in the Autumn of 2012. More information here and you can visit the author's blog here.

  • "The Fall Of Arthur" A previously unpublished poem by J. R. R. Tolkien is set from release in May 2013, published by HarperCollins.

  • 'The God Tree' is a new book by Janis Fry, throws new light on the Arthurian quest for the Grail through the discovery of the close connection between King Arthmael. More info here.

  • Problems with the website are continuing at the moment and Alan is currently unable to post any new entries to his blog and much of the content has been lost. Instead he has written an update in place of the blog page to discuss recent issues and particularly the situation concerning copyright. The new forum has also gone down but we have re-uploaded the old one.

  • 'Realm of The Bear' is an epic retelling of the timeless tale of King Arthur and his knights. The book includes illustrations and is available to buy on Amazon here.

  • 'King Jesus' is a book by Ralph Ellis. The author claims that Jesus was exiled to Roman Britain after the crucifixion and could be the inspiration for the legendary King Arthur. More here.

  • Twilight actor Robert Pattinson is in contention for the role of King Arthur in a new film called 'Pendragon.' The movie is said to be a medieval version of the legends and will be directed by Sylvain White. It has been reported that the movie is inspired by the look of Kristen Stewart's upcoming film, 'Snow White And The Huntsman.'

  • badonicus - is a blog by Mark Wilson that looks at late Roman and Arthurian Britain. Included is his search for a historical Arthur.

  • One of earliest books on King Arthur is up for sale. The 14th century book is expected to fetch 2million. More here.

  • 'The Transformation Of Freemasonry' by Dr. David Harrison is the follow-on from the best selling 'The Genesis of Freemasonry.' The book looks at how Freemasonry in England and Wales adapted after the Unlawful Societies Act of 1799, and how the Craft became tinted with the stigma of Revolution, only to transform itself in the Victorian period to become the most enduring and enigmatic of secret societies.   • 'The Genesis of Freemasonry' is a book by Dr. David Harrison that looks at the more magical origins of Freemasonry, and discusses the Arthurian legend and the symbolism embedded in the 'cycle' - some of which filtered into Freemasonry and Rosicrucianism. More info here.

  • London based author Alan Fenton, (published by Dovecote Press) is releasing two books, 'The Call of Destiny' and 'The Hour Of Camelot' which will be available in bookshops from the 3rd of June. They transport Arthurian legend to a dystopian 21st century world. You can find out more at Alan Fenton's official site.

  • 'The Yonic Symbol, the grail and a Templar Secret' is a paper by Brian Collier which looks at finding the Yonic symbol for the Goddess by analysing the grail quests. More here.
