The Pendragon Historical Society was first
started in the 1990s by Alan Campbell and friends. Although the society
primarily looks at everything connected with Arthurian legend we also look
at a wide range of historical and Mythical subjects such as Ancient Greece, The Roman
Empire and generally anything from before 1900.
The idea of the website is to make connections with other Arthurian groups and enthusiasts and to help to generate interest in the many different areas of Arthuriana across the web. The website was first started back in 2003 and previous visitors to the site may recall that it was once owned by the now defunct SRBpictures production company and had been set up to promote the Pendragon film. Despite the demise of SRB we have not ended our hopes of the film being made and continue to look for investment in the project.
